As soon as we took our first bite we realize the food was barely warm. It tasted good enough but it would have been much better if it was served warmer.
Breakfast Potatoes, Red Fresno Chimichurri, Sunny Side Up Egg
Our waitress didn’t bother asking how I wanted my steak cooked. I assumed they probably cook it to medium, but I was wrong. The steak looked like it has seen better days. I had to send it back. Then an army of people came and apologized!!
They asked if we wanted an order of corn muffins while we were waiting for my food to be cooked over. I said no thank you.
Sweet Corn Muffins with Maple Butter
Well, we got an order on the house and my husband tried one and said it was very dry and crumbly.
This one was much better and even though I asked for medium-rare what I got was medium. The flavor of the beef was pretty good and it had a bitter smokiness to it from the chimichurri.
They didn’t charge us for the steak dish and it was very nice of them to do that. What they need to do is to train their wait staff much better. I was sitting for a long time without any napkin and silverware and even though so many people walked by nobody noticed it. Also they have to work on their execution. We will be back in a couple of months to evaluate the place.
