A great treat that is unfortunately very addicting. The original recipe asked for:
2 cups date
1 cup almond butter
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

That was way too sweet for me. I changed the recipe to:
1 to 1 1/2 cup date
1/2 cup tart California apricot
1 1/2 cup almond butter
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Seeds from 1 to 2 cardamom pods
Coconut flakes, sesame seed, cocoa nibs and pink falke salt for topping

Process all the ingredients until a paste has formed. Line a baking dish with parchment paper and press the paste into an even layer. Add the toppings and chill it in refrigerator for a few hours. Finally cut it into desired size and enjoy it.
