Wolf is Chef Marcel Vigneron’s new restaurant in West Hollywood. The space is airy and inviting. The service was friendly and informative. Chef Marcel was in the kitchen when we had our brunch. The only negative for me was two out of the three dishes we ordered were on the salty side, which is a shame considering the quality of the ingredients and the beautiful presentation. We will definitely be back but I will ask them to go easy on the salt.
Eggs Benedict Hollandaise Espuma, Coddled Egg, kale, Smoked Pork
This was one of the best benedict’s we have had. The smoke pork was high quality and the hollandaise was the best. So good you wanted to lick the plate. The kale added a healthy element to the dish.
Kale Salad Crosnes, Cucumber, Almond Dressing, Crispy Quinoa, Amaranth
When was the last time you had such a beautiful salad for brunch? In our case never. I love it when chefs are creative and use unique ingredients such as the tasty crunchy crones and the stunning amaranth leaves. The only negative, unfortunately, was the salty salad dressing.
Crispy Potatoes Chive Aioli, Rosemary, Horseradish
Another stunning dish. My potato loving husband was in heaven. The potatoes were a little too salty but otherwise a feast for the mouth and eyes. The chive aioli was amazing and the potatoes were crunchy on the outside and soft and airy inside.
