It has been years since we dined in Irvine. Eats Kitchen & Bar is located inside the hotel Irvine. Once we got to the area where the hotel was located, we looked to see where we should park. We were directed to a parking garage labeled as the events parking. We were like, what is going on? As fate would have it, the one Saturday we picked to have lunch here, coincides with some kind of car show!! Good thing we had a reservation. The place was very casual and their lunch menu was very limited. Service was good considering the event.

Ahi Tuna Sandwich Furikake-crusted Ahi / Sriracha Yuzu Aioli / pickled Shallots / Cucumber / Avocado / Ciabatta
I asked our waiter whether we should get the Tuna or the Pastrami? We went with his recommendation of tuna. The tuna was fresh and went well with the shallots and cucumber slices. I ate my half without the bread, so I could indulge in some fries. Fries were crisp but nothing special.
Steak Salad Organic Greens / Chimichurri Steak / Roasted Cherry Tomatoes / Shaved Radish / Ciabatta Croutons / Feta Cheese / Sun Dried Tomato & Basil Vinaigrette
Steak was flavorful but the organic greens looked like the ones you buy from Costco. Come on, step it up. Vinaigrette was on the sweet side.
