Ever since I saw Manresa Bread on Netflix, Chef’s Table, I was determined to go there and try their bread and other goodies. Before moving to the East Coast, I was hoping to go on a two-day road trip and stop at this place. I had to pack our house non stop in order for that dream to come true, even though I had injured by back and my knees were not doing that well either. But you know what they say, if there is a will, there is a way. Even though I had high expectations, I did not get disappointed. The staff was very friendly also.
Pretty good croissant with enough butter and a great texture.
Pain au Chocolat
The chocolate croissant had a great texture and a dark chocolate filling.
This must be one of the best kouign amann’s I have ever had. Very buttery, crisp and not too sweet.
Pumpernickel Organic in-house milled rye berries, toasted buckwheat, flax seeds, fermented rye berries
A very good bread. Nice and dense with lot’s of earthy flavors.
