I read about Chase the Submarine while reading about Kyirisan restaurant. Since we were in the area, I decided to give this place a try. To my surprise it was located across the street from Cava, the place we had lunch at the previous day!! The food was good but not good enough to go back. Everytime we have a sandwich, we compare it to the ones from Gjusta in Venice, CA and they usually fail to measure up.

House Smoked Angus Pastrami house-smoked Angus brisket, whole grain mustard creme fraiche, carrot sauerkraut, pickled shallots, rye
They are famous for this sandwich. It was good but on the salty side.

Steak & Cheese thinly sliced rib eye, peppers, onions, provolone cheese
I did not want white bread, so I went with the lettuce. It was comical how small the portion was and it lacked any flavor.
