I have been going to François Payard bakeries for a long time. Since our hotel was right next to FPB Murray Street, we decided to stop by before starting our day. I was surprised at the poor quality of the items we tried. I guess he does not care about quality control anymore.

Pain au chocolat
The croissant was not buttery and the texture was soft.


Ham and Cheese Croissant
This was a joke of a ham and cheese croissant as you can see in the picture. Not much cheese and a tiny amount of ham. I was shocked and told the staff. She mentioned that other people have complained about the same thing. Well, I guess complaining does not get you anywhere.
