I looked into trying out Joselito Casa de Comidas a few times before but for whatever reason, I never made a reservation. I finally took the chance. Their food was on the bland side. Service was good but they brought out all the three tapas we tried all at once.

Calamares a la plancha sobre lentejas estofadas Grilled squid, lentils, marcona almonds
Lentils were bland and needed some kind of spice to perk it up. Squids were cooked well and went well with the lentils. I don’t remember any almonds though.

We love Iberian pork and this dish would have been a very good dish had they cooked the pork a little less. We enjoyed the mojo picon and the potatoes.

My husband picked this dish and it was a total disappointment. It had no flavor and needed a little something besides the lamb to leave an impression.
