Once again we were in the area and since we liked the steak salad previously we decided to give this place a second try. This time the steak salad was not as good as the first time. The steak was cooked more to med-med well. We also tried the Farmer’s MKT plate and it had Heirloom tomatoes, grilled corn, fresh mozz, cherry Tomato, Fennel salsa verde, shaved red onion, roasted eggplant and Asparagus with romesco. It sounded better on the paper than it tasted. The Eggplant was undercooked and when our waitress walked by I mentioned it to her. She brought a new one that was cooked a little more. Like I have said in the past if you don’t know how to cook Eggplant properly, don’t bother. The service was OK and We will not come back.
We have never been to this place before and we gave it a try. We had the sausage party pizza and it was OK. It had Huntington Fennel Sausage, Zoe’s Natural Bacon, Salami & Prosciutto and Balsamic Drizzle. The sausage was not as tasty as the one from Mozza. Their crust had no flavor and the texture was OK. We then had their steak salad. It came with Romaine, Arugula, Cherry Tomato, Avocado, Crumbled Blue cheese, grilled Red Onion and Candied Walnut. The steak was a hanger cut (my favorite) and was cooked just right to med-rare. we liked the steak much better than the pizza. Service was fine and it was an Ok experience.
