Pink Lady Strawberry Gelée, White Chocolate Lemon Mousee, Macron Crunchy
Even though I am not a white chocolate fan, I enjoyed the white chocolate lemon mousse. The strawberry gelee added a nice berry touch.
Mont-Blanc Almond Cream & Pear, Blackcurrant, Chestnut Cream, Meringue
Blackcurrant was the reason I picked this treat. Almond and chestnut added earthiness. Pear was a nice fall touch.
I thought I was buying a new item but I guess I had their opera cake a long time ago. It was on the sweet side.
Raspberry Mille Feuille
This is their new version I guess. The middle layer is a cake. It was good but not as great as I hoped.
Choupi Cube pâte à choux, Grand marnier Light Cream
We were trying to decide between two selections and the girl behind the counter suggested this one. The cube was crunchy on the outside but the cream inside was light on Grand Marnier.
Chocolate with Tropical Fruits
It was pretty good and not too sweet. It had chocolate mousse and pineapple, banana and mango. The portion was good for the price.
It has been a while since we have been to ST Pâtisserie Chocolat. After having some great sweet creations in Spain, It is needless to say our expectation were high and unfortunately we once again left disappointed. Sigh!!
The berries were not as sweet and flavorful as they should have been. I enjoyed the gelée layer though.
At first I liked it, then I realized the almond flavor was not as pronounced as I liked. You tasted more sugar than the almond.
My family was in town so we stopped here to pick up a couple of things for them to try.
This looked prettier than it tasted. It had a lot of layers including the crunchy praline and it had a subtle coffee taste.
This had caramel and chocolate and was disappiontingly sweet.
We also got the Mille-feuille and it was as good as last time. I just wish it was a little bigger. My brother tried the Almond Croissant and he seemed to like it. I took a small bite and found it too sweet. I think we need a break from this place. I feel half of the time their price does not justify the size and the final product.
Choux Chocolat & Cafe
This was a pretty good Profiterole. We really enjoyed the chocolate coffee combination, but then again who wouldn’t? It looked very pretty too.
I have been waiting to taste their Millefeuille again since December. It was pretty good, but I wish they would make different varieties.
It was crispy on the outside and tasted good, but I took a picture of the pretty side. It looked like they had a hard time removing it from the mold and I have never seen that problem at a fine bakery.
