We have been going to Lotus Of Siam forever and decided to try a new Thai restaurant. It was a good experience, but I think we will stick to LOS. We started with their lettuce wrap with Crab and crunchy onions. It was a nice start and I was hopeful about our dinner. We were looking forward to try the Nua Nam Tok . It was Charbroiled rib eye steak, rice powder, onion, cilantro, chili powder, fish sauce, lime juice. We always get this dish at LOS and love it. Chada’s version was not as flavorful. Pou Nim Ma Karm was Stir fried soft-shell crab topped with tamarind sauce and it was OK. Seabass Tod Krueng was Pan fried Chilean sea bass glazed with chili paste and it was pretty good. Our favorite dish was the last one. It was Moo Khum Waan and had Charbroiled pork topped with chili mint sauce and served with Chinese broccoli. It was a very flavorful dish, but by this time I was very full.
Overall, it was a nice dinner. Their dessert menu didn’t appeal to us and we stopped at Payard for dessert.
