We had lunch here and the experience was a mix. We went there hoping to order the items that was listed on their online menu, but I guess those items were only served at dinner time. Of course there was no mention of that on their website.
It was warm and comforting and better than your standard miso soup.
The veggie plate came with flavorful Japanese eggplants and carrots. The two sides we chose were the lotus salad that was fine and greens. It also came with your standard baby greens salad and a choice of rice. We picked brown rice.
This plate came with fried red snapper that was really overcooked which was a surprise at a Japanese restaurant. We didn’t feel like sending it back, but we should have. It also came with fried tofu that was OK and a sweet squash dish that was on the sweet side. Overall a miss dish.
