Shaved Vegetable Salad
Roasted Bone Marrow n’ Sourdough
Dry Aged Hanger Steak
Crispy Skin Ocean Trout
We decided to dine here since I was picking up some chocolates from Vosges in Beverly hills. We had no idea that you can park for free after 6 p.m. in this area of BH. We wasted some time circling around and finally parked at the original spot we parked in the first place!!
Scratch Bar is located on La Cienaga’s restaurant row. We came here with my parents. Our first selection was the Shaved Vegetable Salad with Fennel, Watermelon Radish, Radicchio and Arugula. It was a nice refreshing salad. My husband wanted to try the Roasted Bone Marrow n’ Sourdough. It was very tasty, but the portion was on the small side. At this time my father saw the small portion of the mains and almost cried!! It was funny because his generation is not used to this small plate business. We had the Dry Aged Hanger Steak with Asparagus and Roasted Tomatoes. Steak had a great flavor, but once again the portion was tiny. Crispy Skin Ocean Trout came with Roasted Tomatoes, Pickled onion and some other veggies. It was a nice fish and was cooked well. Service was professional and the wait staff looked like they were either models or actors moonlighting at the bar. On our way out, the hostess asked us if we wanted some home made marshmallow on the stick, so we can roast them on their fire pit. We said yes and it was a nice and sweet way to end our dinner.
