We love Greek food. After searching online for a while, I came across this restaurant. The pictures looked good and it was located by the water. The food was good to pretty good. The service on the other hand was far from perfect. Even though we were the only people there, our waitress was gone most of the time and our empty dishes were just sitting there for a while. There was a lot of noise coming out of the restaurant also. That made for not such a relaxing brunch experience.
Grilled Octopus Green Garbanzo Beans, Romaine, Diced Tomato, Pickled Red Onion, Giardineire Pepper, Red Wine Vinaigrette, Black Lentil Spread, Crispy Capers
The octopus was very tender and had a nice char. I don’t think I tasted any green garbanzo or romaine. They must have left out some of the listed ingredients.
Braised Lamb Benedict Braised Lamb Shank, Candied Orange, Dill Hollandaise
The waitress recommended this dish over their braised lamb dish. It was a good dish but I did not taste any candid orange. The lamb was not gamey and tasted pretty good.
Roasted Eggplant Roasted Eggplant, Grilled Onion, Watercress, Curly Kale, Pumpkin Seeds, Grilled Halloumi, Baby Tomatoes, Red Onion & Black Garlic Kalamata Olive Fluid Gel Tossed in Balsamic
A refreshing salad. My husband was not crazy about halloumi cheese but I encouraged him to give a it a chance.
Bellagio Patisserie is located inside the MGM National Harbor Resort & Casino. When I saw the pictures of the pretty confections, I had to go there right away. The casino itself is not much to look at but the Bellagio Patisserie itself, is worth a drive by itself. I just wish I lived closer so I could indulge more.
Raspberry Chambord Cake
This pretty cake had my name all over it. Great flavor from raspberry and chambord.
chocolate Kalamansi Cream Puff
Not only it was pretty to look at, it had a great chocolate citrus flavor.
