Our second pastry stop after Souk, was the newly opened Lil’ B cafe. They have got a lot of press for their Baklava Croissant. Gjusta in Venice, CA was the first place that we had baklava croissant at.
As we took our first bite, my husband claimed loudly that this was the worst croissant he has ever had. Well, texture wise it was more like a bear claw than a croissant. It was too soft but had good flavor. We wisely saved the second one and reheated in the oven when we got home. It was much better. I guess they have to work on the texture!!
