Since I was visiting the Union Market in D.C. I picked this place to have brunch at.
Pastrami Cured Salmon green goddess, crème fraîche, pistachio, salmon chicharron, peas, pickled carrots
I was debating between this dish and their famous Lambs & Clams. Since the former was better suited for a warm spring day, that was the dish we went for. The salmon was good and had a nice spice going on. The pistachios were not that good. If you list it as an ingredient, use a high quality pistachio.
Charred Octopus seaweed chimichurri, ancient grain salad, white soy, citrus greens
The octopus was a mix. Some pieces were tender, some not. The ancient grain salad was basically a refreshing quinoa base without any veggie or anything.
